This is also my personal best comments wise - and more importantly - score-wise. I'm hovering around 5.7 right now.
I know, some of you would say that you've bombed, but for me it is a major success. I've set up a goal for me to get 5.5+ by May, and This challenge closes on May 1st, so there you go.
I am on track to my record worst score. I deserve it too. I should have known better than to submit the picture I did, with the unfortunate attempt at humor. It was a bad picture and deserves the drubbing it's getting. BTW, all the commenters are right on.

It's easy to be humble when you're bad...
don't give up on the humor aspect
sometimes it works (and some times it doesn't)
some like it (and some don't)
its easier to poke fun with humor
& whether they get it or not, it still is worth it
have to keep telling yourself the mantra
"the only opinion tht matters is my own"
because opinions are like * everyone has one ;)

That'll teach me NOT to edit on my PC at home.

and wast too lazy to drive 17 miles to work and do it right)

I shot my photo with more of a Point-Of Sales display in mind or catalogue and not at all for a full page Ad.
I'm not sure how to vote on hotspots? I noticed that in my research of images there were blowouts on maybe 80%-90% of the shots I saw, small and large except for a few. Diamonds left small multiple hotspots where silver or gold had streaks.

Well I beg to differ. Unless of course you also consider someone stringing bear's teeth on a cat's gut and wearing it around one's neck jewelry...
There are necklaces I consider jewelry, and there are things you can put around your neck that would not qualify as such.
There are watches that I would consider jewelry, and then there are some watches I wouldn't.
