Your cherry blossom pic is fantastic -- the colors/composition are excellent. I'd prefer the focus'd flowers more centered, but the way it grows from the branch makes it work as is.
And here's some more people shots. I'm trying to dig out from under the pile of shots I have from the last week. Also look for Manic's Crazy American Adventure thread- coming to a forum near you. ;)

Hooray for me. I win the last-to-post award. My delay is by no means indicative of how much I enjoyed the trip. I had an absolutely wonderful time meeting everyone and spending the day in DC. For anyone skeptical about how great these outings are, I highly encourage you to give it a shot. And now, a few of my not-so-great shots =)
