My goal was to submit a shot that represented how I felt on that day. Which is what I did. I also predicted it would score in the low 5s and I'm standing at 5.3 :-)
A free study is always an ify thing with me. Lots of great photos in there though - and 500 to vote for. I'm getting lower scores than normal. Still... I really thought I had a good shot and it's not showing. Live and learn.
I expected a little better but I also figured the competition would be varied and quite stiff. Some very nice work up there.
All my shots seems to creep upward in score on the last days/hours of every challenge I've entered. So I guess, if history serves, I'll be at 5.5-5.6 when it's over.
I'm doing quite horribly with a good picture, all well. I love my comments that roll in afterwards on how the pictures are robbed. 2 good comments, with a horrid score, awesome.
Me too. I chose the artistic way of doing it this time, which is apparently not welcomed. Tried to lure itself below 4.0 today, but up to about 4.25 now. But, I value it way higher. Oh well, maybe someone'll comfort me with telling me how I was robbed as well :)
Well so far so good. I'm above my goal and looks like it should hold it's own (voters, please cooperate!) I'm at a solid x.xxxx and holding (Sorry I'm a tad bit superstitious about my scores during challenge)
i cant wait to post my pic and see whats wrong with it, this is the best photo to date and its focused, sharp, and the color is great so y are peeps givin me a low score? grrrrrrr...even posted it on another website and got nothing but great reviews...started at 6.0 now have a 5.2, its doing worse than my abandon building
