After lunch we will meander our way through Chinatown, down to the National Mall, and then around towards the Tidal Basin. Detours to the WW2 Memorial, and Monument Triangle area possible. The high point event- Sunset at Ye Olde Tidal Basin.

I might be able to make the 9th. I plan on going down the 8th, but if it rains on me, I'll be down on the 9th regardless. Please PM me your Cell Phone, so I can try to catch up with you guys. I won't be able to do lunch, but hopefully I can locate you guys if I'm down.

Okay, so here I am at 12:30 in the morning preping for tomorrow and catching up on household chores that I seemed to have procastinated on. My thinking.. Crap, I'm still stuck with my Sony F707, I need to move up in the world.
It's all good, as I am in rare form tonight and I am actually speaking. I will be there tomorrow if it kills me, I'll explain when I see ya'll
I went down on Wed. to the basin to look for a few shooting spots, plan is to go down around 6:00 for sunrise and shoot the horizon over Jeff. mem.
Oh yeah.. and bad news.. I will have to take off around 1 or 2. I may be able to extend it a little longer, but I need to be back at home before 3:30. I'll shut up now.. Goodnight all
What a great outing! Exhausting, but great fun. The weather was absolutely perfect, the cherry blossoms were everywhere (as were the people), but best of all was getting to meet a great bunch of DPC regulars. Thanks guys for an unforgettable day. -Ray
Well, I got back last night, and was going to post, but I figured without some pictures... people would kill me. Well anyway... no pictures yet.. processing RAW takes a while.. and I am lazy...

What a great day, yesterday! Wonderful seeing some of you again and meeting a lot of new members and from near and far and of course, gods 1 and 2. Sorry I got lost or something...but I enjoyed the entire day none-the-less. Here's some of what I've done so far.
