Sorry guys can't vote on this one. I have a problem with my eye and have to dissappear for a few days. I work in front of a computer and under florescent lights all day so about twice a year My eyes get bad for about a week. Went to the doctor a few years back for this problem and he said it was from staring at a computer screen all day combined with the florescent lights. Will back at the end of the week.
I just finished voting on AA and I would say that there are alot of 5 star Photo's in there. I added 15 to my favorites and just want to say good job everyone.

Good enough for whom.... The primary objectives as far as I am concerned are to improve one's skill, learn new things, make new friends and feel comfortable in what you are doing.... the rest is merely window dressing.
I may not be scoring all that well, but I am a much better person overall since I first came to DPC. I am doing what I like... am having fun doing it... and have met countless of kind, considerate and very helpful individuals.

Looks pretty good so far. My goal is to get a top ten, but I don't think a 6.5 will make top ten in this challenge. There are lots of great entries in this one!

its not my monitors.... those are calibrated... and i did go somewhere else and look at it... so its me .. and bad photography... anyone want to buy a camera? or two or three... or them all?
i'm depressed enough with out ppl jsut tellign me i'm crap by voting low ... and not saying why ...

Hang in there! You're only on your 3rd challenge. You have the interest, the creativity, the willingness to learn....and some of us will get around to commenting a little later in the week (it's typical).
51 Challenges for me. I've got nothing for surrealism. I am definitely NOT Ansel Adams. Learned much this week trying to be someone I'm not--and reconnected with my love of B&W from my darkroom days. This site (and my entries) are not all I am and not all I can do. Chin up! (And a little tissue to dawb that mascara....)

Im right there with ya hunny...Anything over 4.0 is good for me..I mainly just enter cause it's fun..(that and Im pretty sure one I enter and Hate will win!! hehe)

Yours must not be that bad... I put comments on all the low scorers I have (4 and under) and apparently yours was not among them.
Do not despair. B&W photography is one of the most difficult types of photography there is to master.
Its ok, I blow it on this one. The shot had good potential, I shot it in b&w +2 contrast. Didn’t give me any room in ps, its pretty much right out of the camera. When will I learn to bracket my shots.
