Both were taken on the same trip to Mackinac Island, which is located in the Straits of Mackinac, near the top of the State of Michigan, in the United States, for those that aren't familar with the US and Michigan in particular.
Jan 10, 2004 INDUSTRY. PA - A tugboat pushing six barges of coal sank after entering a dam on the Ohio River early Sunday, killing three crew members and injuring three others. A seventh crew member was missing and presumed dead. The tugboat, the Elizabeth M, went over the dam and sunk.
The boat in the pic is 108 feet long and 16 feet tall. This was taken a few days later - the water is still very high in this pic. Last i heard the boat was still there - I may have to go get an updated pic.
