If you end up trying the freezer method, bear in mind that it is a one-shot operation (at least as I understand it), so if you get it running, get in there and copy your files off ASAP. Once the drive thaws out, it will be gone for good. Again, this is what I have been told by other technicians (I used to do tech support for Toshiba), but I've never had to test it. Good luck! |
