Thank you, Tera. I wish I could find a bellows to work with the EOS system. I had read about the light fall-off at higher magnifications, but had attributed that to the lens being so close to the image.
But really, you are the second person I have talked to that has actually ever used one of these lenses and you sound less than pleased with yours. I think I will do a lot more research before I put out the dollars for this.
Maybe I will just save my money and get this EF 1200mm f/5.6L USM
