Playground Slideby DistantColoursComment: A personal favorite for me in the challenge. Without the title, I would still be guessing at what you've presented here. |

The Standardby MelethiaComment: Completely missed the giraffe. Wow. But even so, this was a 7 from me. I find the perspective and processing choices here to be understated and compelling. Like all of my favorite stock photography. |

View from Belowby sjshafComment: I rather love this clean architectural abstract. I was one of your 7s. If you choose to repurpose this, I might suggest either cropping a bit higher from below or cloning out the two fragments of support structures reflected in the glass. It would make this (for me) much more about the rhythm of the lines and intersecting angles. But that's just a two-cents suggestion. :-) |

Little explorer by MaggyeComment: Notes, people! :-P I kept wondering how in the world you got this -- a camera trap? Tiny planet wrap of a horizontal capture or a fisheye lens in an actual hole (as the chromatic aberration might suggest)??
Ugh. This is so genius. One of my top scores. But also frustratingly elusive... lol Congrats! |

Wish I’d Flossed by Ragga2000Comment: Sometimes a familiar idea can still be re-presented in a compelling and original way. I actually appreciate this one because it DOESN'T read as "ha ha" funny or like a cheap shot at a familiar professional/cultural trope. Both the level of capture and the clean processing decisions--the composition, the framing, the purity of the whites, etc.--all read as something that strikes that rare balance of tasteful and smartly humorous.
Obviously, this was among my top votes, too. ;-) |

Casting a Different Viewby KristjanUnnarComment: There goes that color handling again...not to mention the pristine DOF. I had this one up there near the top of my picks also for the clever and truly unconventional perspective here. Congrats! |

Lazyby Alex_PetriniComment: One of my challenge favorites. I'm assuming this was a phone capture, and it reminds me why Steven Soderbergh heartily embraced the iPhone as a serious go-to filmmaking camera for the unique angles and proximity it enabled for cinematic storytelling. |

Cold Shoulderby BaldurTComment: First rate fine art processing. This would make an amazing cover image for a gallery series leaflet. |

2. Julyby PennyStreetComment: I dig this cinematic bit of mundane still life. The teal shadows really balance the pinks of the orchid so well, and the shadow play makes it feel dramatic. |

Heronby GeneralEComment: I'm digging the naturalist's eye here. The color tones feel rich and authentic. |
