A very sweet and whimsical capture, I can see why it resonated so well with the viewers. It was one of my 7s. Simple capture, I love the expression on your subject's face - nothing else matters but that tiny biplane. So extra marks for artistry! Technically I can see a few of my pet nitpicks hanging around, like the bleached-out fleece inside the chinstrap area of his flight cap and that slightly distracting patch of green to the left in the background. But it did quite well in a Free Study so nothing to sneeze at. Keep up the good work, please keep on entering!

Nevertheless the very green plant in the left background is distracting imo. A small amount of desat on that spot and I'd given you a 10 instead of a 9
