IMO, you've captured the BW tones nicely. Without your title, I wouldn't think solitude but that's just my 2 cents. It would have been cool to have the legs of a person sticking out from behind the column... |

The dark foreground and the tree on the right seem to put a darkness into the image that makes it less appealing than it could be if there were a different crop. |
