A terrific concept and nicely executed. The numerous shades of red blending to yellow give this a pleasant feeling. The detail of the charcoaled wood is pleasing, but not detailed enough to overpower the overall impression of heat and warmth. As a texture image, it works, but under whelming in detail. A good effort though worthy of a good score.

Interesting processing on this, makes it feel very antique-y. I like the smokey look to the lines in the background. I think the white balance feels a bit off, perhaps it's the antique-y look, maybe not.

Personal best - Way to go!! Since my photo was also an abstract at just about the same intestity level, and there weren't too many abstract photos to look at in this particular challenge, I had to come back and look again. I love it! Great job.
