This one made me really stop, look and think. It's quite unusual and strangely intriguing. It's out of focus, quite artsy and grabs attention fully. I'm sure that many voters are going to stop and take a really good look at this one....either that, or click on past it :) One way or the other, this one has a lot of interest. Not sure how to categorize this one but, from me....just on the pure esthetics, deep meaning and artsy feel to it...it's getting a 9 from me! (I'm not giving many of those out in this challenge! :)) By the way, I'm sensing another type of award coming up for this one! Good going!

Panoramic shot, great DOF, and vibrant colors. Nice, suffused lighting. Too bad you couldn't add some water droplets for the Dpers. Is this abstract realism or realistic abstraction? Last thought: what about constructing a plastic curved piece and having a ladybug in the foreground?

You've met the challenge well, but the composition doesn't work for me. I think the killer for me is the blown highlights at the top and left side are just too much. I love the blown highlights at the end of the road leading your eye down the road with the walkers. I would love to see this shot reworked outside of the dpchallenge restrictions..darken the trees, clone out the sun spots (except at the end of the road...) would be an awesome composition. I'm giving it an 8 for potential.
