This is a really lovely photo, and shows your skill in lighting photos well (although the bases the pears are resting on look just a touch hot on the sides). However, I’m mixed, as I don’t really see a painting with light aspect.

I like the setup and the use of the small platforms for the pears. Unfortunately I think this still life if flawed because the light is coming from two directions and this works against the shape of the pears, especially on the middle and left pear. I would expect the light to nicely wrap around the pear and go from light to dark gradually to emphasise the round shape. Painting with light can be a great method to achieve that. The right pear is close but there could be some more shadow, i.e. less light, on the bottom-right.
