Comment by chip_k: Really nice idea. The white parts of the candy are completely blown out though and the edges of the candy appear to be pretty rough.
Comment by posthumous: Pointillism. I'm more impressed by photos that didn't use Photoshop filters to create the brushwork, but this certainly does look like an Impressionist painting.
