Comment by tpbremer: frickin' ridiculous. This photograph is so unreal, and is an example of why digital photography technology pushes the boundaries of what we can do as artists. I cannot believe how sharp this is, and the colors are so earthy and warm. I think your title is a bit goofy though, I'm wondering why you chose it... Otherwise, my favorite so far although I'm only 54 in! Its a 9 now, but I'll probably be back to bump it to 10. Something is going to have to be really killer to be better than this.
Comment by dtremain: Considering how difficult it is to get a good shot of one of these flying, I'd say it is indeed a gem. Iridescence just doesn't capture well with still shots.
