ha! This is goodness in you talking as we all fall under this spell:
This woman was pretty much being zoomed by in the crowds going across one of the bridges across the Seine by the museums. I caught a glimpse of her face, saw the cup, and asked her if it was okay if I shot her after giving her a few coins. What a truly nice lady she was!
on a different, sunny day she'll rob you clean. In Paris the "real" homeless (clochards) look different but the art of begging and steeling was developed to the state of art there. Life is so miserable sometimes and hardens our hearts.

This is a fantastic shot, I would call one of your best. This is gritty and nostalgic Paris, the place of Hugo and Balzac and has the smell of mildew and freshly baked bread over this sky that is almost always grey and low
