Love the strong contrasts between light and shadow in this black & white photograph! The glean of light on the brick pavers and the shadows that act as leading lines back to the people strolling on the path. I think 'walks of life' as I look at this photo. A runner 'disappears' into the light. While it does 'mask' the runner's identity I feel it is as much of guess me if you can as it is also a catch me if you can. I feel the viewer takes an active role in this scene because curiosity of 'who is it' compels one to run to catch up to the person disappearing into the strong burst of light from the sun.
