a degree in seeingby mitalapoComment by insteps: I'm trying to decide if this poem is about you or them. Another nice interpretation.
This would be an interesting challenge if Don agreed. Post one of Don's poems, his choice, from the book or not and we take a photograph inspired by the poem. |

a degree in seeingby mitalapoComment by Germaine: Amazing capture -- a natural diptych -- there's no way those two women are together. They are functioning on two different planes. Perfect use of black and white. |

a degree in seeingby mitalapoComment by jagar: An emotional capture, pride and shock, it’s a wonder you survived this, you did and you shared the dead guy’s wonderful poem at the same time, thanks, |

a degree in seeingby mitalapoComment by streetpigeon: Strong image and felicitous match with the line from the poem. The gazes are complex, replete with reflecting sunglasses and an intervening mirror or something. The open door or, again, whatever introduces a mysterious note that brings the drama up a notch. Works well in b&w. I'm enjoying the depth of mood and emotion. |

a brief cascade of imperfectionby mitalapoComment by insteps: A little poetography and geometry with humans, two themes in one. Lovely elongated portrait composition with that magic number of three focal points. A chance encounter about to happen? |
