Very creative! Might be my favorite take on the challenge. Don't know if this will bother others, but I see the paintbrush and want to see the artist! Color is a bit flat in the background.

I like the idea of this image, but like you, I struggle with dealing with haze in post processing. As a result the image lacks the depth that I am sure you saw on site. Good job though!
