Comment by macrothing: 9 - Very good. Good use of the infrared(?). Whilst I'd prefer to see 'classic photography' (ie: no in-camera effects, etc) for this Challenge, it is a sign of the technology and I accept that. However there is a 'line' on what in-camera editing supersedes the skills of the photographer. Using this effect however doesn't apply in my opinion. A good eye and skill are required to produce an image like this. The dof is spot-on, the only aspect I'd like to see improved upon is the overall 'depth', as in 'dramatic feel', if that makes sense. Perhaps a little darker in areas, more definition, not sure. I'm guessing a 'novice DPCer' requested validation on this (and many others in this Challenge), which seems to be an issue that may need addressing someday. Took the liberty of adding to my Favorites. Like your title.
