Maybe not "old" as most would perceive it, but works well when taken with the title. Color is excellent - very rich and vibrant - I like the golden tones to it. The tree branch on the right does compete for a bit of attention, but not sure how else you could have composed the shot. DOF is used well here.

She's a beautiful girl, and this is an excellent shot of a priceless moment. I don't "pity" these children, but my heart goes out to them. The only unfortunate thing in your shot is that the background is similar to the skintone. A little more "contrast" there would have made it a very punchy shot. I understand that was out of your control, but it's just a wish, you know? :)

4 - Nice angle. The reds, and some other areas, seem blown or 'something', loss of detail and perhaps loss of control/contrast/too saturated, who knows.
