PAW - Beautiful shot, but ominous knowing it's from the wildfires. Have they put them out yet? Is the smoke moon-lit, and if so was it HDR from several exposures?

PAW - I really identified with your first paragraph, since our neighbors complained about our dogs barking during the day, so the past year we've kept them in dog crates all day and I come home at lunch to let them out for a potty break. It looks like you caught him mid-crow in the picture. Then I read the second paragraph and was taken aghast! I guess that's life on a farm. Nice coloring anyway.
