Comment by jmritz: I love that sweep of light running through the middle. This gives me the feeling of seeing something for the first time and I love that sensation.

"I definitely enjoyed the processing, although I understand the comment about the center of the frame. I saw it as a source of distance. Kept me from the people, consistent with cultural, and physical, differences inferred by the clothes. I loved the liberal touch of the woman out in front, head held high. A proud saunter. The serendipitous spacing of the two men and the boy worked out well. The contemporary father, entranced by something other than his son, who is blissfully enjoying the ocean. Just when you thought the mood was heavy along comes grandpa trying to figure out his smartphone; just steps away from watching his grandson go for a swim because he blindly walked in to him. :)
My first impression was more like this...the spacing of the people is perfect. Painfully bright. But I like it. I wonder why? "
