Do not hesitate in getting one Clive, they are quite simply stunning, but do be prepared to put up with the cameras many foibles and really slow down your image making but in my eyes that's no bad thing. As for the Merrill 1 that's exactly what I intend to do, once I have one I am seriously contemplating getting rid of the rest of my gear I am enjoying using this camera so much!

What I really want and appreciate is critique, comments good or bad that enable me to reflect on an image, what has worked what hasn't, something tangible that I can learn from - I learn nothing from a silly symbol without any accompanying comment. The other comments here are far more constructive and useful to me, I welcome and value them.
