Ah, INFRARED! That explains it :-) Beautiful rendering, though the completely featureless blank sky bothers me a little.
For an Ansel Adams challenge it bothered me too. I was running out the door to get this place and another before the fog lifted. In the words of Maxwell Smart, "Missed it by THAT much".
