Comment by nam: This one got bumped several times by me. Not sure whether it was the cracks in the leather of these well worn slippers or the darned toes, but it's an ahhh image for sure. Comment by HarveyG: I like that a few photographers have chosen to be OOB and not do "traditional" portrait shoots or orientation. Excellent backlighting and mood imbued in this image. Enough to show a fleeting emotion of pain and sadness. It took a while for me to notice her closed eye.
