Brrrr...lovely high key treatment. I think the composition could have been improved perhaps by panning to the right to exclude the left tree and place the other one away from the center of the frame and leaving a bit of negative space to the right

Thanks to both of you and especially Chris for coming back and letting me know who had made the original comment - I was soooo curious :). This was at the library - low artificial light and hand held, a situation my camera does not handle well in terms of noise. Clifford is definitely muddy and I so wished I had the time and skills to change him out for a crisper version given the rule set, but I didn't. Our granddaughter turned two the end of August, and she talks up a storm, not only to us but also to all her dolls and animals as you see here. There were sweeter moments during the brief "shoot" but not with the book positioned well in terms of the Droste effect.

Didn't want people knowing I was back until the first challenge I entered was over. There's a thread about my return, so I don't care anymore.

Forget the exact comment, but it was about my daughter also reading books. You were my only eight in the entire challenge.

I think I would go back and tweak the colour in the sky and the withered grass so it popped a little more, but this is very nice as well 9
