Gorgeous! Great find and capture. Stunning bird, I am not fimular with the Red-shouldered Hawk, I am with a Red-Tail Hawk, they can be found in the NY area. I have had the oppertunity to photograph Falconers, the birds are so beautiful.

Not cloning, but removing the fence was the first thing I thought about. Photoshop's Remove tool works like magic in way less time than trying to clone it out. Either way, though, it's a great image, made better without the fence, IMO.
