Comment by MelonMusketeer: Green Herons are very pretty when the sun hits them from the right angle. Most of their feathers are iridescent and the pattern on their wings makes for good photos.
This one seems pretty tame. They usually like to sort of hide in the brush or back in the trees. Nice catch!
