Comment by posthumous: Batten, as he gears up for an independent presidential bid, is trying to be the Ralph Nader of the Sea, but I have to wonder what sort of Populism will be inspired by sailboats? I suppose he's trying to avoid Nader's mistake by cutting into the Republican base instead of the Democratic.
