"...love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation"by Adamsw216Comment: Superb image. Such powerful emotions being transmitted here. Fantastic natural setting combined with brilliant composition. Deep range of emotions that jump out at the viewer. Fantastic title that incorporates the full spectrum of emotion and feeling whilst illustrating the challenge theme completely. Technically also excellent with a full range of tones and lovely muted colors. Superb detail and excellent dof. Great use of natural lighting. |

this is the endby chusterComment: Incredible image. Beautiful use of natural lighting to highlight the protruding bits of the suitcase. Poignant and fitting title that illustrates the meaning of the the "END" exceptionally well. Superb detail and lovely natural colors. Excellent composition also. |

Take a Bowby colorcarnivalComment: WOW! Absolute stunner of an image. One of the best in the challenge and deserving of a ribbon. Fantastic lighting and superb detail. Fits the challenge so very very well. I love the wallpaper and the shadow of the plant against it. The wilted flower adds a strong feeling of despair and lonelyless. |

Sunkenby TheoSnijderComment: Excellent image and one that captures all the anguish of the lone sailor lost at sea as all his hopes and his very life sinks to the ocean depths. There is a strong feeling of despair and hopelessness portrayed here that fits the challenge theme like a glove. The composition is well done too and the detail and color is superb. |

Chinese Whispersby surlybiffComment: So it's a courtyard. To be honest with you...I thought it was a tiled floor in a weird room of some kind. That blue object there I thought was a rubber doorstopper with what looks like swingdoors behind it. I thought maybe it was a Chinese public restroom or something and I thought those gray planks that run along the sides was a turnstile or barrier of some kind.
But don't be surly Biff....anyone can make a mistake with interpreting things hey. Message edited by author 2009-02-05 05:15:30. |

Buddhas Silenceby vanillabean93Comment: The idea you have for conveying silence is good but I find it has not been executed very well. The buddha figure is devoid of any detail and the rest of the frame is a bit too busy and also a bit fuzzy. 4 |
