Hair in front of the eye on right detracts. Not much contrast between the light towel and white dog, but I like it anyhow. The wavy hair is interesting, and it is a nice comparison between the towel texture and dog's hair.

What a lot of hair! Reminds me of my aunt's dog - similar look, but white with large black spots. May want a little more space above & below the dog.

Nice. They don't make curves in anything but 90 degrees in NE Indiana (well, not totally true, but close). Makes you wonder where the road goes.

My First Moon :-}

The advice I got is to shoot the moon like it was a daylight shot - after all the moon is an excellent reflector, and it is reflecting the sun. Especially with a 500mm zoom, you should be able to shoot 1/60 to 1/250 and still get enough light and excellent detail. Your shot is excellent for first time out - it is oh so very, very easy to blow out the moon while everything else is black, or to blur it badly.

What a contrast between a living human being, actively engaged in watching something, and lifeless dirt background. Without your description, I'd have no idea what to make of the spoon - waiting to eat (it looks pretty dirty)?, digging?, a find to take home?

Not my cup of tea. I almost feel like I'm being attacked when I look at this photo (the spiny things reaching out from the center towards me, crossing from the photo into my comfort zone).

Day 22: Movie Star

What an enigmatic look, especially coupled with a gun. You can't tell if he's going to lift an eyebrow and wink, or squint, frown, and take aim. I think the gun in front of his face adds to this feel. Nice old-time feel to the shot. Plain background doesn't distract from the shot, and enhances the enigmatic feel.

Ooh! I like! Not sure why you'd put up just two walls on several buildings at once, but this makes it look surreal. Love the darkness & contrast. None of the building starts look like they could withstand a mild breeze. The one in the foreground looks like it shouldn't even be standing at all.
