Huh? I don't see any possible way this deserves a bottom 10 finish. You're using nice bokah for the background, fairly even lighting on the face, no hot spots on the glasses, nit-picks (and they are that) - light spot on his left forehead, lower portion of tie is a bit washed out color-wise. I may have tried a crop through his right shoulder (red background side), so he anchors the picture with his head / body, and is looking into negative space (which, if there is room in your original a bit more would be better). I have no clue who the man is, but it looks like he is a reporter for CNN, or is giving a statement to CNN. I even like his slightly bemused expression that you caught.

Nice tonsil shot. You ever wonder why the camera-shy folks can't figure out it is better to just hold still and let you take the picture - can't be less flattering than blurry mouth wide open tongue hanging out... Smile. Hope she doesn't mind too much...

Would that be the same "Indian Lake" as the rock song ad? Nice shot. I agree about the perspective. It almost looks like a cut and past from two different images - the rock clues and height cues are just wrong!

Different effect, but you stopped at the flower & leaves. So, you have a nice smooth photographic background and a rather intense filter. To me, the looks clash and are not pleasing.
Even with the texture, the dead leaves are still very visible.
Nice lighting.

I think this is a great shot! It is a thought-provoking picture without being insulting. Michael was undoubtedly robbed of his childhood, and we'll probably never know the truth in the other area.
Further, it is an interesting photographic and editing effect.
