Nightfallby MargaretNetComment: The first entry I have opened, and a real treat. Excellent in its own right, and even better for the challenge theme. |

eveningby TiberiusComment: A strong entry for the challenge. I do rather wish that you had waited until the two passers-by were out of the frame - they break up what would be a really strong triangular composition of the three guys. |

Me and my tail feathers by Mr. Peacockby rozComment: I've just read your notes, Roz. How exciting to have such an exotic bird coming to your garden! Mind you, I seem to remember they can be very noisy. The colours in this are totally fabulous. |

The fishing holeby tjbel05Comment: Lovely scene!
back for another view, and a bump to 9. So serene, quiet, gentle. I want to be there. |

Real Natureby GeorgesBogaertComment: Cracking - real sense of scale and depth.
Edit - Back for another look. I bet this looks spectacular in a larger size and not limited to 700kb. I also wonder if this would be a good subject for the 'Orton effect' that has been discussed in the forums this week. |

Fog & Surf, Golden Gateby Bear_MusicComment: This was up amongst my favourites of the challenge, a superbly understated image - pleased to see it awarded some bling. |

Sashaby vawendyComment: Sascha is a definite handful. He is the most adorable, loving dog you can imagine, but he does like to play a game of stealing things. Once you engage by chasing him, that's it, you'll be at it for the next couple of hours. He particularly like, in order of preference, an old soft toy of mine, my glasses, my computer mouse, the cat's bed, my purse.... He loves coming to visit as my son doesn't have a back garden (although amazing countryside direct from the front door), but I won't allow him in the back garden unsupervised as he digs..and digs...and digs....
I was astounded Wendy managed to get him to sit long enough to take a photo - most of mine are action shots of him running! So, thank you to Wendy for minding him, and also for the lovely photo. Message edited by author 2019-08-21 04:37:35. |
