Calm water has given you a good reflection of this water bird. I wonder if there was the scope for a slightly different view point, or if hanging around longer would have given you the chance to capture the bird facing the viewer, or at least in full profile rather than slightly turned away.

Congratulations on the Blue - one of the few entries that really worked for me. I do wonder if the idea of 'dar comedy' - or 'black comedy' as it is called in Britain, travels well? I suspect that the British take is substantially different, and possibly quite a bit darker, that the American.

There is something deeply, unsettlingly sad in this photo - I do hope that your subject's life is not as hard as your picture implies. It is a good piece of street photography - not convinced that this was the right challenge for it - or at least, not without a very witty title. Voted earlier - 6 based purely on the photo.
