City of Joy

I love the apparent interaction between subjects and photographer - there is so much to see here, and so many tales to tell. The man lying on the mat adds a strong sense of contrast - the brightness of the women, both in clothing and projected personality to the greyness and dejection of the prone form. Inntriguing and, I suspect, a social commentary to unravel. A phot to return to.

I like the composition and the impact it gives to the tower, but I rather dislike the heavy processing.

Sad about the DQ, but you have a super photo to be proud of nonetheless. Saved to my favourites so that I can find it again when I need cheering up!

peeping....

Surreal! I can only guess that these are peep holes of some sort at a zoo? Makes for a very strange but effective photograph.

The processing is quite interesting, and nearly works for me, but has gone just a little too over the top. You have some fairly heavy haloing going on, especially on the right hand side, and you do need to give your sensor a good clean!

I am astounded this scored so badly. I fully expected it to be in the top half or third.
