Composition/Content - I agree with your choice to have Tanya occupy the left third of the image and the cloth she's holding occupy the right two thirds. I don't always like subjects that fill the frame, but in this case I'll make an exception. I happen to like that she's staring into the lens. This sells the image to the viewer , I believe. Tanya's pregnancy adds to the image dramatically, although "motion" would've been captured even if she weren't pregnant. In other words, the pregnancy makes this a wonderful image independent of the challenge theme.

Background - unobtrusive... nice

Camera Work - When an image "works" for me, like this one does, I have trouble finding fault or identifying things i'd do differently. If I didn't "buy into it" I'd have plenty to propose, I suppose.

Digital Processing - Same as previous answer.

Opinion - I'm a fan of this image. Tanya's pregnancy adds to the image dramatically, although "motion" would've been captured even if she weren't pregnant. In other words, the pregnancy makes this a wonderful image independent of the challenge theme.

Composition/Content - For me, the composition could be improved ever so slightly. I'd opt for a wider view... that is, I'd like to be able to see a little of what's to the left and right of the dogs. I like the concept and the sentiment of the image. The dogs strike me more as being the "subject" of the image than "motion".

Background - perfect for this subject. I'm happy with the sky taking up about 1/3 of the background with the land taking the other 2/3.

Camera Work Technical - Creatively and compositionally this image is substantially more than a snapshot. Technically, its not clear to me that you made any adjustments away from the point and shoot default settings. For example, blurring the background while keeping the dogs in focus might've improved the photo.

Digital Processing - Technical - I'm not sure what i'd do differently. Nothing strikes me negatively or significantly positively.

Opinion - I enjoy looking at the shot. I'm not sure about the title, though. I'm not sure from which dog is "I" . I would've assumed that "I" is the jumper, but I'm not sure since I don't see anything heading into his/her mouth.

Composition/Content - I happen to like the contrast between the blurred car and the in-focus TEXAS. I'm guessing that the commenters who don't like it , don't get it. That is, the car is in motion, and the wall isn't. I also like the compositional choices you made. In particular I like that the image is divided in half horizontally, with TEXAS on one side and the car on the other.

Background - Perfect choice, given your subject.

Camera Work - Technical - I don't know what I would've done differently.

Digital Processing Technical - I might have tried to saturate the car colors a little bit.

Opinion - I like the pic for its sentimental value as well as its creativity. Nice job.

Composition/Content - Trying to capture motion *and* trying to do it with a kid as your subject is a double challenge. Given that, I'm willing to be more accepting of imperfect composition. Nevertheless, I would've preferred a perspective of Isaac where the blue pole wasn't quite in the middle of the frame, and the bright wall (?) in the left corner was absent. I believe that you thought this out and planned the image carefully. I particularly like the reflections in the slide and the detail on the slide surface... bb's???

Background - Wish the blown out wall on the left weren't there. Otherwise I like the tree and overcast sky.

Camera Work - Technical - I don't know what I would've done differently given your selection of subject and composition. That's not meant to be a negative remark. I'm saying that the concept and the composition are simple. Extensive technical creativity is not really warranted.

Digital Processing - No complaints and nothing stands out as wonderful.

Opinion - Ultimately, I like the concept, and I think the execution was fair-to-good. I sympathize, as i've always been frustrated at the results of images I've taken of my kids on slides.

Composition/Content - I know you've received some criticism of the composition of this image. I don't dislike it as much as some of the others. I like that the water ends at the middle ofthe picture. I also like that I can see the source of the water. For me, this picture doesn't say 'motion'; it says water.

Background - OK, a little boring; could use more color saturation. I'm glad this was taken on a day with a threatening sky.

Camera Work Technical - Don't know what I would do differently, given your choice of subject and composition.

Digital Processing - Technical - Again, I'd look for more rich color.

Opinion - Not one of my favorites. Looks like very little creative effort went into this.
