Love the story. I'm the same, except w/a camera in my hand I'm brave enuf to talk to almost any stranger, as they usually pay much more attention to 'the photographer' & ignore me completely, just the way I like it. This old car has seen a lot--maybe you got the owner's email addy so you can send him a file. He might have a few friends would would be interested in similar 'old' pics. "D You used just the right camera angle & made great improvements.

An unhappy vibe is very well conveyed, with the plant like an organic scream & the Creature with the all-black alien eyes. The cumulative effect of the overlays creates an intresting skin-like texture. Good job.

The boots...the boots...the boots grab my attention & don't let go. The simplicity creates suspense. Something is going to happen, or something has just happened, or something is never going to happen. The air has no dust motes.

These are so eye-appealing & this photo enhances all that is beautiful about these flowers. The strong radial symmetry (of all daisies) is present in this comp, but not dominating it. And of course I really like the #2 daisy, hiding behind her showier sister.

We love our 4-footed friends, don't we? And they do love their treats! I go straight to that eye, with so much expression in it. I never notices the lack of mouth detail. And the overlay is perfect & used w/great effect here. The comp puts me in mind of gold heart lockets & lace hankies.
