Metamorphosisby LonzComment: Nice image, but the lighting is a bit harsh, and the purple fringe is unnatural. (not voting). |

The Colors of Summerby brownsmComment: You are probably going to be hammered for over doing the colors, but hey, Van Gogh also over done it (according to his era standards), and won (ok, not during his life time) (not voting). |

The Forgottenby SimmsComment: Great composition and lovely foreground colors. I wonder if taking the same image from a slightly lower position, so that the sun is somewhat hidden by the leaves, would have improved it even more (to say it differently, I am not fond of the direct sun highlights). (Not voting). |

the new American Gothicby dahkotaComment: The colors and the sky, combined with the wide angle distortion, makes this look like a painting. I wish we could see the whole tree on the left, and not at all the rightmost one. (Not voting). |

Madonnaby MichaelCComment: I like this strong genuine image (as opposed to artificial/studio image). I wish we could see her right hand and the whole "device" she carries, and I would also crop out most of the sack(?) on the right. (not voting). |

Wonder.by Dan_CottleComment: Very nice. The low key makes the viewer join the wondering. (not voting though) |

DoFby hajekaComment: Shallow DoF is indeed demonstrated, but to my taste it needs to serve a purpose to become interesting (not voting though). |

Generationsby bspurgeonComment: Nice composition and facial expression. The B/W works very well. To my taste, sharpening was overdone, as can be noted on the teeth and hand of the younger one (not voting). |

Scalyby sh0rtyComment: The central part of the image is nice. The highlights at the top corners are less so (but I'm not voting). |
