I like how the contrasty foreground is laid on top of the soft background. The foreground tree, although a silhouette (usually a static object), delivers energy and dynamic to the composition. There is a lot to look at in this image. I even like the border.

I like the composition and colors (the blank pumpkins, the brown leaves with the dark green grass, and the dark brown shutter on the light green wall). The dappled light creates additional interest. Her posture and expression delivers an end-of-the-day kind of a mood. Sharpening is somewhat overdone to my taste, and I would also try to soften the highlight above her left knee. Overall, a great image.

The composition, pose, dressing, background but mainly the light give this image the look and feel of a 17th century Netherlands painting (and I don't mind much the band on the left, though I think I could do without it). Very beautiful indeed.
