I like how the outside mist combines with the translucent windows.

The angle here is even better than in "Labyrinth" [thumb]//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=777758[/thumb]. The processing is great. Escher would have been proud. (not voting)

The lighting on the kid's face is superb, making him (her?) glow like one of the lanterns. I guess you are hammered for the kid in the background, but don't pay attention. It is a great find and a great capture. (not voting)

Don't know if that's relevant, but maybe if you rotate slightly clockwise, you may be able to crop out the yellow bud in the bg, allowing the subject to stand out just a little bit more. Also, I would try to keep all of the subject in focus (especially the yellow part), helping the separation between subject and bg.

You nailed it with the lighting, and by using the oof light to imitate the moon.

I agree - I wouldn't lose the bokeh. The non-standard composition is not bad either, as it allows the viewer to wander around and find things (there are things to find)

Flowers in b/w? I didn't think it may work, but you prove me wrong. I like the lighting and how the bud stands out.
