I like the tones in this picture and the variety of textures (raised texture in lamp, soft texture of background and smooth texture of the statue). I wish the light wasn't so bright and the dark parts of the statue didn't fade completely into black though. Otherwise, a nice shot.

I really like this one... the focus area is perfect and well lit. I also like that it is a black and white photo... I think color would distract from the textures. A good example of an image that fits the challenge, to dramatically light a subject with artificial light! Excellent job!
