A Peaceful Moment by DudskiComment: Initially I gave this an 8, but now, having a look back at all the images after my first pass, it is BY FAR the out-and-out best image in the challenge, and therefore, worthy of a bump to a 9. Colour, composition, detail... even the border... WONDERFUL. Blue Ribbon on the way without a doubt. Well done! |

I'm surprised that this didn't do better with the voters. It's perhaps a little over done with the HDR processing (haloing and too much black), and... is that crane really tilting that much... rather unsettling. |

Nice image. Brilliant location. Composition is good, and you've done well with the HDR processing, however, the bottom left (the trees) is still too dark, and the haloing at the top of the rollercoaster on the right is an unfortunate by product of HDR which I'd try to avoid (I know it's easier said than done). Also, the colours in the sky look a tad flat... a result of noise reduction perhaps...
All that said... this is a good shot, and a worthy addition to your profile page. |

Well and truly overprocessed, but you already know that. Putting that aside, I think this image had some great potential for HDR (especially those clouds), though, I think you've cropped a little too tight on the right.
