I like this... a lot. Don't know exactly why... it's bspurgeon-ish, but there's something amiss, imho, however, I'm captivated by this and therefore have still score this quite high (voted earlier, am only commenting now). Unfortunately, I suspect this may be a candidate for a MUAIMHO... a small consolation if it is... we'll see when voting finishes. Regardless... well done on a very nice entry.

I don't know why I like this so much, but I do. It has a mystery, tells a story... VERY captivating image. Love the title too. While I think this might not go down very well with the voting masses, I'm in awe at this image and rate it in my top 10 for the challenge... and the more I look at it as I comment, the more incline I am to give its score nudge.

Creeping Tides

If this had a child, or surfer, this could have very easily taken out a ribbon in this challenge. Processing is perfect, but the image just lacks that extra element of interest, imho. Despite this, I've scored it in my top 10.

My Way

I love this image. A great mix of focus and blur that Ben does well. Wonderful composition. One critique of this is that I find the contrast a bit harsh for this challenge. Nonetheless, a wonderful image and one on my favourites in the challenge.
