Comment: the lighting is pretty harsh here. i also think that you shouldn't have tried to use such a shallow depth of field in this instance. good idea, though.
Comment: i like this idea. i think it would be more effective on a solid color background (instead of the 2 colors), and I think I would have the focus more on the front objects and let the DOF trail off backwards.
