Very effective photograph. Love the colour/B&W you used. Personally I like a little more in focus, say all of the cards, or the top of the cards and the stack of chips in tha back, or whatever.

I think this is stunning and I am sorry you didn't do faaaar better with it in the voting. We grow orchids and I am constantly looking for new ways to photograph them - this is a beautiful portrait of their "essence". It was also the inspiration for my "DOF in Red" challenge entry - I didn't use an orchid and in the end it looks very different, but this photograph was the inspiration for it - Thank You :-)

This is cute - except I don't think the scale works, well it didn't for me. I couldn't make out what the "thing" was when looking at the whole picture. Perhaps a much tighter crop or originaly taking much closer would have worked better.

I like the image very much. So clean. Although the pinky tone is in the roof (?)itself, somehow I don't like it as the background. I do like the "gentle" focal change on the right. Very striking in its simplicity
