Why did you choose a pink background? Regal to me would be red or royal blue? The pink seems to really "not work" with the amber beer colour, but that is just me ...

Like the idea. Since this was advanced editing you could have taken 1 shoe and flipped it so the 2 shoes are identical. I would have prefered them to be identical or at least more identical than what they are here.Still nice picture

Yes it was. I learned so much. Always liked snakes just had a problem with the venomous ones :-). When you learn how to handle them you loose the "fear" (not the respect - always respect them!)

Thank you so much for this feedback - it helps. I just don't seem to get the shutter speed up as much as I would like to :-(. This was a very unique opportunity for me to take these snakes and it took a while to have the guts to be close enough ;-). I was thinking with the f/18 I would have a better chance of having her in focus. Of course that pushed my shutter down ...
