In Transitionby pixelpigComment: This is amazing. So sad that it did not score better for you, but reading your comment on the image I am glad it holds a special place in your heart. It is very, very beautiful. Thank you for giving the detailed description of how you achieved this effect. I will try to set up something like it. I hope you don't mind, but in this case it is truly a case of "Immitation is the sincerest form of falttery". |

Swallow (PAW 7/52)by HarveyGComment: Lovely Harvey. Those birdies NEVER sit still and are increadibly fast. You did really good to get such a nice picture.
My only suggestion to improve this is to crop out and/or edit out the dark top left corner. I find it distracting, but maybe its just me, I see other(s) like it :-).

Breeze of Freedom by jagarComment: Congratulations on the ribbon. Great shot, no absolutely fantastic shot.
I don't want to be rude, but only a hound would actually sit still in front of a leaf blower ;-) |

Exodus by gyabanComment: Your work is so amazing. Again and again and again you create these beautiful images.
I am a bit "concerned" though .... Don't you live in France? and you were in the water? It was a "bit cold"???? Me thinks I have found the answer to your genius - you can't be "all human" standing in the sea in February :-). I think we have our very own X-Man ;-). |

Week 3: First Smoke Capture!by NeilComment: Nice, I have seen "coloured" smoke images before , which are also nice, but I like the subtle colours in yours. What did you use to make the smoke? I did some smoke photography (also for the first time) 10 days ago and battled to get a "thick" smoke like yours. I wanted to edit my image, so very different approach. I ended up using a cigarette. It was supposed to look like it came from a candle ... the theme was "Elton John song titles". |

anticipationby daisydavidComment: Not wanting to take away from your image, but I think the title is what really makes it :-). So clever. |

the-mandarins_0004by mariucaComment: Very funny :-).
I do think that you create too much contrast on the fruit with your choice of lighting. Especially the leaves; some parts are almost black, others green. I would have thought a more even light would perhaps have worked better (I think the figures as silhouettes work well). |
