I love the way the coat seems to "reflect" (?) the blue/black of the gangway. Have you tried a B&W conversion to perhaps get rid of the yellow/beige wall in the BG and see what a B&W would look like? Maybe even go B&W and then colour it with the blue that you see in the gangway now - I very much like that colour. Just an idea because you were asking for ideas. Don't knowe if it would improve your current image.

She is CUTE. Actually has this half smile on her face and her eyes seem to match the grin ... very cute. Nice bokeh type BG in green on top, pitty the white "thing" comes in from top left corner.

I agree with jmritz, very SciFi, and yes, it looks like going "down" into the earth, not "down" to the surface :-)

Well, I am with the "bottle brigade" :-). In fact I saw an image during the week and the guy told me it wasn't a landscape, it was in fact a bottle. When I saw this image, the first thing that came to mind was "now I know how he did his image" ... NOT :-) ... Ball or bottle, I like it. Doen't know what colours were involved, but can imagine it may also look stunning is a very saturated colour version (since it is a ball and not a bottle :-))

as always Ursula, really beautiful. I love your work. Although I haven't seen it in B&W, but I can relate to what you wrote that you like it this way. I too love the soft "gold" tone in it and imagine I would miss it in a B&W conversion. Pretty all round, what more can I say?

This is such a good image and to think that it was an action shot. It almost looks like a studio set up with the color of the BG and her skin being so similar and the black contrast. Very nice indeed.

Week 5. Nott Memorial Lights

Architecture is interesting, but I love the colors, especially on the dome. Looks sort of mosque-like. Nice composition with the other buildings still lit a bit in the BG.
And I am sooo impressed that you can hand hold this type of shot. You don't drink coffee? ;-)

I hate to say it, but were it not for the straight cage bars, I would have sworn you elongated the neck and widened the mouth in pp :-). What a funny shot of a seriously annoyed kitten.

This is a great picture. Makes you realise what the view from "down there" must be like. Love your (?) dog :-). some dogs like to "controll the walk ways in a house. Seeing it from this angle makes you realize what they actually "see". Great lines in the floor to lead the eye. Very clever idea all round.
